Code 3’s mission prioritizes connecting communities with their police officers in meaningful, positive ways. This is why it was a privilege to invite participants from one of our partner organizations, The House DC to leave their neighborhood in Anacostia for a day to enjoy some adventures on the Chesapeake Bay. Code 3 Executive Director and retired DC police officer, Joe Abdalla, enjoyed providing new adventures for the group, and the youth that joined him exclaimed that they had the time of their lives! It’s safe to say we look forward to next summer to hopefully do this again!
