On March 31, 2018 Code 3 held its first annual March Madness Basketball Tournament with local police officers and local youth. We were happy to have four teams compete, two from the local community and two from the police department. The team from the local community, “Anacostia River Church” won the tournament. After the competition we were happy to all enjoy a cook out and inflatable obstacle course for the children. Code 3 T-shirts were handed out to everyone. We were also pleased to have the DC fire department bring the fire truck for little ones to tour. The fire department also offered free health screenings for local residents.
