Former Redskin Super Bowl Champion, Brian Mitchell, spoke to students at the Excel Academy in Washington, D.C.  Excel Academy is a public charter school for girls. The Academy’s mission is to provide preschool through grade eight girls a solid academic foundation and enrichment opportunities to prepare them to succeed in high school and college and to develop the skills and confidence they need to make healthy, positive lifestyle choices.

Mitchell, along with Code 3’s DC Area Coordinator, Kevin Copeland and Metropolitan Police Department officers spoke to the students about bullying, making good choices, and social media.  Students asked Mitchell many questions about bullying, his life and childhood.  The afternoon was a huge success!
