In 1962, United States President John F. Kennedy signed a document proclaiming May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week surrounding it as Police Week. Every year, 25,000 to 40,000 law enforcement officers and other attendees come from around the world to Washington, DC to participate in events which honor officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

If you would like to learn more or participate in any events, visit www.policeweek.org for a daily schedule of events and more information.

Please join us at Code 3 in celebrating and appreciating the police officers who work tirelessly to protect and serve our communities this week!
