A call to the local police station in Gainesville, Florida had a different outcome than the original caller may have hoped. When the police officer, Bobby White, arrived he saw that the noise complaint was about neighborhood kids playing basketball. He told them that there had been a noise complaint, but instead of breaking up the game or getting them in trouble, he went a different route. This police officer joined them and shot some hoops as more people joined the basketball game. It was refreshing not only for the neighborhood group who was playing, but for many in our country. The video footage has gone viral with over 17,000,000 views. We are thankful for cops like Officer Bobby White who not only protect our neighborhoods but also prioritize what really matters when working with civilians in the community.
