Police officers may have been working overtime to help residents dig out of the snow, but they weren’t alone in their efforts. Residents from the First District in Washington D.C. emerged from their homes to help officers dig out police vehicles that were stuck in the snow. In a time in our country where police and community relationships are beginning to rebuild, it is encouraging for all to see a community coming together with the common purpose of getting through a blizzard.
