Code 3 and officers from the Youth Division branch of the Metropolitan Police Department delivered ice cream to 130 kids at Garfield Elementary school, located at 2435 Alabama Avenue, Southeast Washington, D.C. Kids were happy to enjoy a wide variety and selection of ice cream. Code 3 continues this outreach at least twice a month during the spring session of the school year and then throughout camps during the hot summer months. The parents and teachers are so excited to have this opportunity for the children where they can interact and be mentored by local law enforcement officers.
